- Our family moved to Denver from Maine for the express purpose of our daughter with special needs having an amazing place to indulge her passion for musical theatre after high school. Her first Magic Moments show was “A Dark and Stormy Night” in 2015. She had the role of Cousin ITT (Addams Family). She has been in every production since.
- My favorite MM memory is my daughter’s unbridled excitement and anticipation around every Magic Moments event, including auditions, every rehearsal, every word her director, KQ, says. Performance week is a peak experience for everyone every year.
I joined the Board this year because it was time for me to give back to the people who have
given so much of themselves to my daughter’s benefit.
I have an MBA in Finance and Statistics from Ohio State University. I worked in theatre and TV
in New York and Los Angeles in financial planning, analysis and reporting. Since having children,
I have kept my hand in this capacity as CFO of our family company, Carmichael Productions, Inc.
Magic Moments has become a family affair as my husband, Mike, has been on the writing staff
since 2018. Our son, who lives in Chicago, has attended at least one performance every year
and in 2022 started volunteering during production.
