Assistant Stage Managers

We are looking for two Assistant Stage Managers for our next production. Rehearsals begin in early January and run for 10 weeks, with one performance weekend in late March 2022. Rehearsal commitments for ASMS are Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday evenings from 6:30pm – 10:30pm, Saturdays from 8:30am – 4:00pm, and Sundays from 12:30pm – 6:30pm, with ASMs receiving (1) weeknight or ½ Saturday off. Sundays are all hands on-deck Full Cast rehearsals. Tech Week requires additional commitment. Both positions are compensated with a fixed stipend.

With a cast of 175+ actors of all ages and abilities, people management and the ability to problem solve at a moment’s notice are a must. The Stage Management team works closely with the Lead Team to keep rehearsals organized and on-track. Strong teamwork, initiative, task management skills, and the ability to take detailed notes is required. Experience taking blocking notes is a plus. Ability to carry up to 40lbs is helpful. Experience in the theatrical realm is preferred. Prior PSM or ASM work is a plus, but not required.

Kid’s Stage Manager

We are looking for a dedicated Kid’s Stage Manager for their Spring musical theatre production. Rehearsals begin in early January and run for 10 weeks, with one performance weekend in late March 2022. Rehearsal commitment for this position is Saturdays from 12:00pm – 4:00pm. Tech Week requires additional commitment. This position is compensated with a fixed stipend.

With a Kid’s Cast of 40+ children of all abilities, strong people management and the ability to problem solve at a moment’s notice are a must. The Kid’s Stage Manager will work closely alongside the Kids Music Director & Choreographer to keep rehearsals organized and on-track. Strong leadership, initiative, task management skills, and the ability to take detailed notes is required. Prior experience leading children, with the ability to provide references, is required. Experience in the theatrical realm is a plus.

Costumers

We are searching for 12 team members to assist the costume designer to manage and prepare costumes for a cast of 175+ actors of all ages and abilities for their Spring musical theatre
production. Costumers are a key part of every theatrical production. Our large production requires a team of shoppers, stylists, costume dressers, tailors, seamstresses and assistants who maintain a wide variety of skills to help in any situation to help the costumer bring their vision to life. On any given day they might be helping with fittings, at the costume shop searching for items, or on the road shopping for supplies and last-minute items.
