Sign up today to audition for Magic Moments annual production, The Envelope.
This year’s production: “The Envelope” centers around a small group of nerds accidently recruited to get a highly secret “Envelope” safely to NYC while being pursued by the nefarious MALICE organization. They run into many complications along the way like lack of money and transportation, weather, festivals, and even cows. The show calls for the Nerds, some spies like 007,008, and 000, the MALICE Boss and henchmen, a versatile Driver, some teen agents/operatives, some very self-assured kids, an Elvis imitator M/F, and many more supporting roles with many solos, and, of course, lots of chorus doing amazing things.

As always, we presented the Special Needs Theatre Arts Scholarships during this annual event. Our scholarship program is funded through the purchase of Sweet Nothings during our annual production. Family, friends, and cast donate $10.00 to include a note as part of the show program to an actor or the cast. These notes are everything from “Break a leg cast!” to “Mom and Dad are so proud of you and all of your hard work! We love you.” Keep an eye out how you can send a note and help fund these important scholarships by sharing love with our cast and crew during our 2023 show.
Each selected recipient is eligible for up to $500. Winners will be announced at the annual Magic Moments dinner held during the summer (date TBD). Scholarship funds can be used from the date of the award until June 30, 2023.

A little about us:
The goal of the organization is to raise community awareness of the special gifts of persons with physical and developmental disabilities and to provide our diverse cast with the opportunity to stretch their talents and give back to their community through theatrical performance. We provide our disabled cast members the opportunity to perform alongside professional actors and to be trained by professional staff in a nurturing environment that builds their confidence, self-sufficiency, and self-worth, which carries to their daily life. The families of these people are affected as well as they witness the personal growth of their loved ones. Many caregivers have noted a marked improvement in the attitude, ability and personality of their loved one as a result of their experience in a Magic Moments show. The sense of pride that these families feel in watching their loved ones transcend has a positive effect on everyone involved.
Many thanks for your consideration,

However, we encourage everyone who is able to make a Sweet Nothing donation as a way to support our Sweet Nothing Scholarships. Thank you to everyone who makes it possible to contribute to this great program.
Tickets are now on sale for this year’s show, Take the High Road.
Sparks fly when Nederland, Colorado’s town mechanic/leading preservationist faces off against an aggressive New York real estate developer with plans to turn it into the next Gaylord. They lock horns in an epic no-holds-barred battle of “progress” versus purity. There’s only one problem: they each think the other might be “The One”.
This year was another successful Colorado Gives Day for Magic Moments. Thank you so much to all of the generous donors who contributed to keeping the magic going. Without donors like you Magic Moments could not exist.
