About

First Magic Moments Production?
The Child (2010) – my daughter, Kayli Sue, was in the kids krew and was her first
theatrical production launching what would become her life’s passion. She was so
excited just to be part of the show and performing alongside professional actors and
special needs actors made a huge impression on her and formed a strong foundation
for her sense of equity and inclusion in all aspects of life.

Favorite Magic Moments memory?
Although I have never been onstage in a MM production, we have been front and center
for almost every show after The Child and had the wonderful experience of watching not
only Kayli, but many of the other young actors grow and mature onstage over the years.
Last year, however, was the pinnacle as we got to see all the hard work, long hours,
voice lessons, and theatre workshops come to fruition when Kayli was cast in the lead
role in “Don’t Stop Believing” and performed “Never Enough” which literally sent tears
streaming down my face.

I am a licensed attorney in Colorado and had a private practice in Boulder for
approximately 30 years before transitioning to a fulltime position at CU-Boulder where I
teach non-academic “Adulting” to students through their off-campus rental housing
experiences. I grew up in musical theater as my parents were founding owners of
Boulders Dinner Theatre. After several years of watching the magic happen in Magic
Moments, I recognized that this is truly a special organization and am now proud to
serve on the Board of an organization that serves so many others.
