Virtual Volunteer Fair

Magic Moments relies on volunteers to keep the organization and the show running. We would love to have your help making the magic happen!

Magic Moments always needs volunteers both on and off the stage. You can sign up to help online now. Here are some of the opportunities we are currently recruiting for:

  • Grant Writers – help us with grant applications, and grant reporting. Great for anyone who likes to write and finds it easiest to volunteer from their own home on their own time. Previous experience is great, but not required. We’re happy to teach folks what they need to do.
  • General Writers – we are looking for volunteers with strong writing skills to help us write emails, press releases, blog posts, show blurbs, etc.
  • School Outreach Coordinators – our school outreach coordinators are responsible for liaising with area schools to promote auditions and tickets to students at schools in the Denver metro area.
  • Website Managers – we need one or two volunteers with strong web/technology skills to help us keep our website up to date and fresh
  • Workshops- securing venue and instructors, creating flyer, work with marketing to advertise, send mass emails, planning and execution, set up, clean up, SN Coordinator, etc.
  • General Help- Someone to pick things up during the day from printers, storage…someone that has a flexible schedule
  • Corporate Solicitation- help sending emails out to businesses for gift cards, sponsorships, donations, etc.
  • Social Committee- planning and helping execute Annual Dinner, Cast Party, and other events, as well as workers at events. Magic Moments runs various events throughout the year, and we always need folks who are willing to roll up their sleeves and help staff tables, serve food, setup and clean up spaces, sell concessions, etc.

And, of course, our annual production is always in need of volunteers backstage including folks to help us with:

  • Set – tech/rigging/carpentry
  • Set painting
  • Props
  • Marketing
  • Kids Room Monitors
  • Costumes
  • ASN Assistants (help our disabled actors in the dressing rooms and backstage)
  • House – ushering, sell retail items, help during intermission, assist guests during show, etc.

If you’d like to help with any of the above, please fill in the online form to let us know how you’d like to help. Thank you for volunteering!
