Meet the cast: Ruby, Michelle and Evan

Welcome to the fourth in a series of interviews with members of the cast of this year’s Magic Moments production – a carnival-themed, original musical revue.

Meet Ruby

She has been involved with Magic Moments for more than 25 years. She does it all – she sings, she dances, she’s a former board member, an in-demand partner, and she makes everybody laugh. Her enthusiasm is infectious.

Meet Michelle and Evan

For many of our performers, Magic Moments is a family affair, and this is true for Michelle and Evan. Last year Evan had a leading role in Magic Moments and this year he has convinced his mom to join in too. We have lots of families that do Magic Moments together, and they love it! As Evan said, come see the show – lots of surprises!

Meet the cast: Anna, Dennis and Leahh

Welcome to the second in a series of interviews with members of the cast of this year’s Magic Moments production – a carnival-themed, original musical revue.

Meet Anna

She just turned 10 (happy birthday!) and is one of our leads this year. If you’re impressed by her poise in this interview, wait until you hear her sing! We’ve got 45-50 kids (yes, you read that right) under 12 in Step Right Up, March 23 – 26th at the Kent Theatre, along with 100+ teens and adults of all ages and abilities.

Meet Dennis and Leah.

Dennis is one of our actors with special needs and has been a cast member since 2001. Dennis is one of the most prepared actors in the cast – he always knows his music (and almost everyone else’s!). And, as he says, his number always brings down the house. He and Leah have been partners for the past three years. You can often hear them laughing together from across the theatre.

Meet Frank.

Frank is in his 80s and still one of our most committed and energetic cast members. He’s been a performer with Magic Moments for nearly 20 years and has no plans of stopping.

Meet Sharon and Anastasia.

Sharon is one of our actors with special needs and star performers. Her smile lights up the room. Her partner, Anastasia, is a high school sophomore who’s grown up performing with the Magic Moments family. These two have developed a strong relationship over the past two years, and are inseparable.
